Thunder Dragon Ball is one of the most rare items in Ninja Must Die mobile game. It is actually an S relic and you can equip it to increase your ATK by 77 and max HP by 30. However the great thing is it’s not only a relic, it is also required for unlocking Thunder Dragon at “Summons” screen. But the problem is that most players have no idea about how to get this particular relic in the game. How To Get Thunder Dragon In Ninja Must Die
Thunder Dragon is one of the three and probably the most hardest to get dragons currently available in the game. It’s description says “The pet of the God of Thunder and the holy beast that protects the Thunder Temple. The lightning power concentrated in it’s body makes it tremendously destructive.” Below you can learn about Thunder Dragon’s four skills.
- Lightning Burst – After 5 times of Normal Attack with Lightning Balls, Lightning Dragon will release Charged attack to fire massive amounts of Lightning Balls.
- Thunder Strike – Lightning Dragon activates powerful electric field and summon the power of thunder to attack the enemies. Stage 1: Summon thunder to continuously strike on enemies. Stage 2: Gather a giant lightning ball and attack the enemy in the area ahead.
- Power of Thunder – All ninjas’ Lightning ATK +12
- Hammer Reward Bonus – Gain 1 more Hammer when on a patrol
When switching to Thunder Dragon at Summons screen and tapping on “Unlock” button you get a message “Consume 7 Thunder Dragon Balls (S Relic) to unlock”. So it’s clear that you need to obtain 7 Thunder Dragon Ball relics to unlock this dragon. But how exactly do you get this relic? Well, just continue reading below to find out.
How To Get Thunder Dragon Ball In Ninja Must Die
Now it’s time to learn about exactly how to get Thunder Dragon Ball relic in the game. There are actually three ways you can use to get this S relic. You can either directly get this relic using different ways mentioned in this post, get Thunder Dragon Ball recipe or by opening S Unidentified Recipes. If you are not familiar with the last two items mentioned here then don’t worry and just continue reading below to learn about both of them.
As mentioned above, other than getting Thunder Dragon Ball relic directly you can also use Thunder Dragon Ball recipe to get this relic. After getting this recipe you need to open “Relic” screen then tap on “Craft” button and then switch to “S-Relic Recipe” at left side of the screen. This will display all your obtained S relic recipes under “Recipe” tab at right side.
Now you just need to select Thunder Dragon Ball recipe from the list and tap on “Quick Select” to automatically choose 5 random A relics as materials. After that just tap on “Craft” button to obtain Thunder Dragon Ball relic by consuming 600 Dragon’s Blood. Note that if you don’t have enough A relics then you can obtain them from bounties or craft them using A relic recipes on relics crafting screen.
The third method mentioned above was to use S Unidentified recipes. As is clear from the name, you get an unidentified or random S relic recipe by opening it, which could also be a Thunder Dragon Ball recipe. So if you luckily get Thunder Dragon Ball recipe from it then just use the above mentioned steps to get Thunder Dragon Ball relic by crafting.

So after learning about three ways to get Thunder Dragon Ball, now i am going to tell you different ways to get all these three items in the game. By using all the methods mentioned below you will be able to collect the required 7 Thunder Dragon Balls and unlock Thunder Dragon as fast as possible.
Special Shop – By going to Shop > Special > Relic Crafting you can purchase “S Unidentified Recipe” for 350 jades each. You can purchase maximum 2 of these recipes each week.
Race Mode Tier Up Reward – You can get 1 Thunder Dragon Ball by entering Gold Tier in Race Mode. Reaching this tier is not that hard so it should be an easy way to get a Thunder Dragon Ball relic.
B or Above Bounties – You can clear B, A, A+, S, S+ and SS bounties to obtain either Thunder Dragon Ball relic, it’s recipe or S Unidentified recipe. Getting Thunder Dragon Ball relic is rare from bounties but you have a chance to get the other two items and ultimately get the relic. You can claim up to 5 B, 2 A/A+, 5 S and 1 SS bounty rewards per day so make sure to claim your daily max rewards from all these bounties.
Shadow Ninja Rank – You get 1 Thunder Dragon Ball, 1 A Bounty and 500 jades on reaching “Shadow” ninja rank. You need to actively play the game and keep completing daily and main quests on “Ninja Rank” screen to reach this rank. Below is the list of ninja ranks you will need to go through to reach Shadow rank.
Rookie > Junior Ninja > Junior Ninja 1 > Junior Ninja 2 > Senior Ninja > Senior Ninja 1 > Senior Ninja 2 > Senior Ninja 3 > Elite Ninja > Elite Ninja 1 > Elite Ninja 2 > Elite Ninja 3 > Eminent Ninja > Eminent Ninja 1 > Eminent Ninja 2 > Eminent Ninja 3 > Super Ninja > Super Ninja 1 > Super Ninja 2 > Super Ninja 3 > Shadow Ninja
Clan Shop – You can also purchase 1 Thunder Dragon Ball from Clan Shop by spending 7,000 Clan Coin. There is a permanent limit of 1 for this item so you can purchase this relic only once from clan shop. You need to join or create a clan and participate in various clan activities to earn clan coin.
Super Ninja Pack – By going to Shop and switching to “Recommended” tab you can find a “Super Ninja Pack” which gives you thousands of jades, 1 Thunder Dragon Ball and other items. However this pack is extremely expensive so most players won’t go for this option but since it’s also one of the ways to get it so i have mentioned it as well.
