How To Get Rin In Ninja Must Die
Before learning about how to unlock Rin first let’s learn about some quick and important information about her. You can greatly increase your ATK and Score Bonus stats using her Support Skills. By upgrading her support skills from Rin to Zen level you can get total +450 ATK and +600% Score Bonus.
She has a great variety of Perks which improve her abilities further in many ways. Below you can learn about all her 6 perks together with details about each of them.
- Water Commanding – ATK +80 when using a Water element main weapon
- Relic Signet – Gain a Relic Slot (the added relic slot can only equip the relic of Jade Fox relic set)
- Ice Soul Arcana – [Ninjutsu – Frozen Funeral] Ninjutsu ATK +320
- Song of Ice-Heart – When Rin’s HP is full, Weapon ATK +400
- Frozen Zone – [Ninjutsu – Frozen Funeral] Screen Sweep DMG +25% after casting
- Ice Storm – [Ninjutsu – Frozen Funeral] Spawn a Giant Ice Crystal halfway through the Ninjutsu’s active duration
Talents are the basis of Ninja’s capabilities and other than basic ones, Rin has some unique talents which make her more special. She has a “Skin” talent which can be unlocked after upgrading her to level 50 which gives you +5% score for every skin set you unlock (capped at 60%). She also has a talent called “Ice Protection” which unleashes Ice Pitons towards the target upon starting for 8 seconds (effective only in Race Mode).
By unlocking all her “Mid-Air Dance” enhancement talents you can gain up to 0.80 seconds of additional floating time after double jump. Also, her “Water Blade” talent allows you to get additional HP and ATK by equipping a water element weapon in main weapon slot.
So you can see how these Perks, Support Skills and Talents make her a really powerful and unique ninja. Now it’s time to talk about how to get this cool ninja character in Ninja Must Die. There are only 2 ways you can use to unlock Rin in the game. The first is to collect the required number of Rin Fragments and the other way is to pull her directly from Wish Banners.
Rin Fragments can be obtained in two ways. The first way is to purchase 5 Rin fragments for 750 Jade whenever it’s available in the Shop. You can find the fragments under Shop > Special > Ninja Development. The items list in the Shop is refreshed everyday so make sure to check back often if you don’t find her Fragments on any particular day.
You can also obtain these fragments by pulling with Jade or Fate Amulet under various banners in Wishes. However the items you get from wishes depends upon your luck so if you are mainly looking for Rin Fragments then Wishes are not really the best way.
Best Way To Get Rin In Ninja Must Die
So as you saw that it’s possible to unlock Rin using her fragments but that’s not really the best and fastest way. Obtaining the required number of Rin Fragments from Shop can take several days or weeks since her fragments won’t appear in the Shop everyday. Getting the fragments from Wishes is random so that’s also not a great way. So you might be wondering what is the best way to get Rin then? Well the best and fastest way is to directly get her instead of collecting her fragments.
In order to get her directly you need to pull her from Wish section. However you might find that there are many banners under Wishes and you might be confused about which one to spend your Jades on. You must only pull under the banner which has the highest chance to give Rin character. Below i am going to mention the drop chance of Rin and her fragments under different banners available in Wishes.
- Choice of Flame – 0.350% chance to get Rin & 2.50% chance to drop Rin Fragment
- Blessing of Fate – 1% chance to get Rin & 3.125% chance to drop Rin Fragment
- Shrine of Fate – 0.500% chance to get Rin & 3.125% chance to drop Rin Fragment
As you can see “Blessing of Fate” has the highest chance to drop Rin therefore it’s highly recommended to pull from this banner. Another thing which makes it the best choice for getting Rin is that you are guaranteed to get either Rin or Souga after 20 pulls in this banner. However note that it’s a limited time banner available for new players only and after you have made 20 wishes under the banner and have unlocked any of the two ninjas, this banner will disappear.
Although you have the best possible chance to get Rin using the above method but if you still couldn’t get her then don’t worry. You can still try to get her by pulling under “Shrine of Fate” banner. This banner has the second highest drop chance for Rin (0.500%) therefore it should be your second best option to spend Jades on.
