Kibo is a boss you will encounter at the end of Chapter 2 while playing Story Mode in Shadow Fight 3. You need to defeat her in order to reach level 7, progress to chapter 3 and also unlock Raids mode. The name of the mission to defeat her is called “Rig Blown Up” and the recommended stats or Item Power for Kibo is 2310 which can be considered pretty high. The difficulty for this quest on the main screen might show Easy, Normal, Hard, Insane or Impossible depending upon how much stats you currently have above or below 2310.
Kibo is equipped with Scalpel and uses it quite swiftly to attack you. However her most dangerous attacks include a move called “Thousand Cuts” and instant dash attacks. In the first type of move she slashes the player in the air with a series of dashes. In the next type of attack she dashes and attacks the player extremely fast. You can notice a glare in her eyes before she starts dashing faster.
Although there are a huge number of players who find it extremely difficult to beat her but in my opinion she is not really that hard. You also don’t really need the recommended 2310 power but of course the closer your power to this number, easier she will be to beat. You just need to use the right weapon and correct technique in order to beat her easily. I was able to defeat her without losing a single fight, as you can see in the image above.
Defeating Kibo progresses you to level 7 and also gives you a variety of rewards. After learning above important details about her now let’s check out how to beat Kibo in Shadow Fight 3. The first and the most important thing is to make sure your power/stat is at least 2000. If you try to fight her with 1500 or 1800 power then you will take a lot of damage and won’t be able to survive for long. However it doesn’t mean that it’s not possible to beat her on “Impossible” difficulty but you need to be quite skilled to do that. For majority of players i recommend at least 2,000 item power or stats.

If your stat or power is really low then don’t try to fight her for a couple of days. During these two days grind events, marathons, epic and legendary keys etc. to get powerful equipment and upgrade them to become more stronger. Once you have 2000 or more power then move onto the second step mentioned below.
The second thing you need to do is use a fast and light weight weapon. The trick to defeating Kibo is to not give her much time and space at all. If you use heavy Legion weapons then you won’t be able to deliver your attacks and get hit even before you could do anything. I recommend using “Lightweight Sabers” for fighting her. It’s a rare grade easily obtainable weapon and thus is also accessible for everyone.
You might be surprised to know but you basically need to use just two simple attacks to beat Kibo. As soon as the fight starts, hold down punch and back button to immediately deliver a swinging move with both swords held out. This will push Kibo back and now all you need to do is just stay close to her and keep switching between up and down buttons on virtual d-pad (joystick) after each attack while holding down punch button all the time.
This simple but effective move will totally confuse Kibo and won’t let her use any of her deadly attacks. Down + Punch button will attack her legs and Up + Punch will perform an upward slash on her body. Both these simple attacks won’t let her maintain balance and you will be able to defeat her easily.
In between these attacks you can also sometimes tap on just the punch button several times to deliver a series of swift attacks and deal a lot of damage, but you should use it at the right time. By continuously using the Up + Punch and Down + Punch attacks you will eventually make her reach the corner. At that time you can tap on forward or back button while holding down the punch button to throw her in the opposite direction and again start attacking with Up+Punch and Down+Punch attacks.
