Itu is the first boss you will encounter while playing Chapter 2 of Story Mode in Shadow Fight 3. You will need to defeat him in order to get 20 EXP and reach level 5. It’s almost guaranteed that you won’t be able to defeat Itu boss the very first time you face him because of his swift attacks and healing ability. Most players find it extremely hard mainly because of Itu healing ability. Before learning about how to beat Itu, first let’s get to know some more details about him. The recommended stats or Item Power for Itu is 1200 however you don’t necessarily need this much stat if you use the correct technique with right weapons. The difficulty for this quest on the main screen might show Easy, Normal, Hard, Insane or Impossible depending upon how much stats you currently have above or below 1200.
Itu is equipped with a Katana (Hermit Katana) and is quite swift with his movements and attacks. If you get caught in his chain of attacks then you might drop your weapon or lose quite a lot of HP quickly. That’s why it’s really important to equip a light and fast weapon like swords or sabers so that you could attack fast and also move swiftly.
However the biggest and main problem most players face while fighting him is his health regeneration. He periodically kinda starts praying for 5 seconds during which he starts regenerating his HP gradually. Attacking him during regeneration doesn’t interrupts or deals damage to him. If you are not able to break or prevent him from healing then you won’t be able to defeat him ever because he will keep restoring his HP every time and the time will be over.
Defeating Itu progresses you to level 5 and also gives you a variety of rewards. After beating him you will get at least 1 legendary card, a rare perk, 4 rare cards (including a bonus card by watching an Ad), some gems and of course Shadow Energy. How To Defeat Itu In Shadow Fight 3
After learning enough about him now let’s check out how to defeat Itu in Shadow Fight 3. The first and the most important thing is to equip a fast weapon, in this example i am using “Lightweight Sabers” but you can use other sabers or swords as well. In order to beat him we need to use just 1 type of attack but that attack must be of a certain type. I will explain about it below so just continue reading.
After equipping a strong and fast weapon, go to Training mode and check these two attacks – hold forward + Attack (punch) button and hold Backward + Attack (punch) button. What you need to check is find out, during which of these two attacks your character covers farther distance (moves towards the enemy). The attack which swings weapon while taking 3, 4 or more steps towards the enemy is the one we will use while fighting Itu.
The next step required for surviving from Itu is to maintain enough distance from him so that he doesn’t deal you a massive damage with a sequence of attacks. For this you will need to tap on downward back button at left side of the screen, every time you deal damage to Itu using the one type of attack as mentioned above. This will make your character roll backwards, taking you away from Itu immediately after attacking. It’s better and safer to attack only once and then roll backwards before attacking again.
In order to beat Itu all you need to do is just follow the two steps as mentioned above. Even before the fight begins, keep both your fingers already tapped on the correct buttons to deliver your chosen attack and then roll back after hitting. Then again attack and roll back and just keep repeating these steps till you have beaten him. You might be surprised but these two are the only steps you need to follow in order to beat Itu boss easily. You should of course also use your shadow ability whenever it’s available to use.

You have now learned the correct technique for fighting Itu but the main problem is his healing. What is the point of reducing his HP using this technique is he periodically keeps regenerating? You might be wondering how to stop Itu from healing? Is there any way to interrupt or prevent him from healing himself? Well, luckily there are two ways to do so. Below you can learn about both these ways to stop Itu healing.
1. Attack from Back Side – You might have noticed that if you attack Itu from front while he is healing, he takes no damage. However you might not know that you can still attack him from back to immediately stop his healing. So you should always keep a close eye on him and be ready to move to the back of him as soon as he takes his healing stance.
You should try to break his healing as quickly as possible, the longer you take more HP he regenerates. You can either jump over him or move through his side to reach to the back of him. The best and the fastest way to come to his back is to move through his side. For this you need to be as close as possible to him and then just double tap the forward button to instantly come to his back and then deliver a normal attack to interrupt him. If you are too far from him then first roll forward and then keep tapping the forward button several times to dash and move to the back of him.
One thing you should also try is not to let Itu come to the corner of the stage because then you won’t be able to come to his back. If he is at the corner and starts healing then unfortunately you won’t be able to stop him from healing using this way.
2. Shadow Ability Attacks – Normal attacks have no effect on Itu while he is healing but shadow ability attacks can deal damage and stop him from healing. Turning into shadow depends upon the damage we deal and take so it is not in our control but still you need to know about it. If Itu starts healing while you are turned into a shadow then just attack him with a shadow ability instead of wasting time in moving to the back and then attacking.
