Lava Pit is an interesting and somewhat mysterious puzzle in Tower of Fantasy. You can find them while exploring the open world at Banges in the game. They are mostly located near the top of a mountain and sometimes near a river. As mentioned above they can be found at Banges region in the game, mostly at a river bank or near the top of a mountain. In the image below you can see one such location (marked in red colored circle and pointed with an arrow) where you can find lava pit.
The lava pit location shown in the above image is near the top of a mountain. In order to reach this one you will need to climb up a huge mountain. So it’s best to first use your Jetpack relic to fly upwards in the air and then climb up the mountain.
How To Solve Lava Pit Puzzle In Tower of Fantasy
Although lava pit puzzle might seem confusing to solve but actually it’s quite easy and one of the most simplest ones. The very first thing players try to do in order to solve this puzzle is to attack it with their equipped weapon. This is actually the correct method for this puzzle but not completely correct. In order to solve lava pit you need to attack it once or twice using the correct weapon, but what is that correct weapon?
You should know that each weapon in the game has one of the four element power in it. These four elements are fire, ice, volt and physical. So any weapon you obtain in the game belongs to one of these four elements. For solving this lava pit puzzle you need to freeze or extinguish the lava in the pit so that you could claim the item hidden inside it.
So just think, what would you use to extinguish a burning lava? Obviously something cool like cold water or ice and that’s it, you got the solution for this puzzle. To extinguish the lava and solve this puzzle you just need to attack it with an ice element weapon. So if you aren’t currently equipped with an ice element weapon then switch one of your weapons and attack the pit once or twice.

As soon as you attack the pit you will see some smoke coming out of the pit, which is a result of the lava being extinguished by the ice element of the weapon. The smoke will then disappear to reveal the hidden item inside, which is mostly a black nucleus. You can now claim the black nucleus to complete this puzzle.
Lava Pit Without Lava In Tower of Fantasy
Till now we learnt about where to find lava pit and how to solve this puzzle. But what would you do if lava pit has no lava in it? Yes, It’s possible and also quite common to find a lava pit without lava in Tower of Fantasy. Most players have no idea about what to do on finding an empty lava pit. Many players even believe that it’s a bug however that’s not the case. Finding a lava pit without lava is not a bug, instead there is another solution for it.
If a lava pit has no lava then it simply means you reached there earlier than expected. You basically don’t need to do anything with the empty lava pit. All you need to do is just come back again after few hours or a couple of days. When you check the lava pit again after sometime, you will find lava in it and that’s when you can solve the puzzle by following the method mentioned above.
Whenever you find an empty lava pit, make sure to pin that location using a map marker on the map before leaving. This way you will easily be able to return back to the location and check if the pit has been filled with lava yet. You might need to visit back the lava pit location a few times that’s why marking it’s location would be really helpful.
