The Witch is a scary new boss at Infected Forest introduced in 1.8.5 update in Last Day On Earth Survival game. Defeating her can be a difficult task (for inexperienced players) hence many times they wonder if it is actually worth defeating her? Is it worth spending your guns, armors and heals? Well, in this post we are going to tell you about if it is really worth it to defeat the Witch or not. So let’s check it out!
Is It Worth Defeating The Witch At Infected Forest?
First of all you should know about what are the benefits of beating her. If you successfully beat her then you can get two temporary benefits in the game. Below you can know about both of these.
1. No Zombie Horde For 72 Hours – As soon as you defeat the Witch you will be able to see a timer over the Infected Forest on your global map. The timer will count up to 3 days (72 hours) which indicates that the zombie horde will not spawn and attack your base for the next 72 hours. Note that if a horde is already in the way then it won’t be stopped. That zombie horde will attack your base but after that no horde will spawn until the timer runs out.
2. The Witch’s Head – If you are lucky then you might get the Witch’s head after defeating her. The witch’s head can also be used to stop the zombie horde. The only difference is that when you defeat the Witch the 72 hours countdown starts immediately while the head is in your control and it depends upon you, when you want to activate its effect. So you can see that the main purpose of defeating her is to stop the zombie horde temporarily. If your base is covered with level 3 walls then you have no problems with the horde and thus it will not be worth it to defeat her. But on the other hand if your base has only level 1 or level 2 walls and you are still farming resources to upgrade them then defeating the Witch can be really helpful for you because you can stop the horde for next 3 days and in that duration you can level up your walls!
