Turrets at Bunker Alfa can be extremely dangerous if you don’t know the correct way to deal with them. They can be found at all floors of Bunker but 4th floor currently has the most turrets. Although guns like M-16 and AK-47 are the easiest and safest way to beat them but many players don’t have these guns. In this post we will tell you the best possible ways to beat turrets without guns. So let’s check it out!
How To Beat Turrets Without Guns In Last Day On Earth
If you don’t have any suitable guns for dealing with turrets then there are only 3 things you can do. Below you can learn about those 3 ways.
1. Use Bows – These are without doubt the safest, easiest but time consuming ways to destroy turrets without guns. The only downside is that they deal quite a low damage per hit to turrets so it might take you a little bit of time, patience and multiple bows to beat a turret. You can hit turrets from a safe distance using bows, make sure not to get too close to them otherwise they will start shooting at you and then you will have to reset them by switching floors.
In the video below you can watch how to use bows for beating turrets. Note that the video is a bit old and at that time the bows used to deal much damage to turrets (like in this video) but later on developers nerfed the bows so now they deal very low damage.
2. Avoid The Turrets – This is a good quick way to deal with them. At the 2nd and 3rd floor you can easily get past the turrets without getting a single damage from them. Simply run towards your path, staying as far as possible from the turrets and they won’t shoot at you.
On 4th floor, you will get some damage from turrets but still if you run very fast (you can wear swat boots for maximum speed) and keep healing yourself, you can get past them. However you should not try to run past the Heavy Turret at 4th floor. They can instantly kill you with their special 1 shot kills.
3. Use Saw Blade – This one is quicker than using bows but requires some resources. What you need to do is take a full durability Saw Blade Mace and keep 20 bandages in your quick access slot. Now run towards the turret (not heavy turret) and hit once with your saw blade and tap on the Auto button (at bottom left corner), your character will then keep hitting the turret with saw blade. Make sure to keep healing yourself using the bandages in your quick access slot. This way you can destroy the turrets using saw blade mace which is currently the max damage dealing melee weapon in the game. Remember, not to use this method with heavy turrets though.
